International Babywearing Week 2013 Events and Activities!

We hope that you'll join us in celebrating International Babywearing Week this year!

Our Kick-Off Open House is being held at Mother's Haven in Coeur D'Alene on Saturday, October 5th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.   Local vendors include Riverview Naturals, Pampered Chef with Nicole, Little Happies, Cindy's Discovery Toys, Allegra Kate Birth Photography, Heritage Makers, Mary Kay with Natalie, RosyBunz Boutique, and Pitom Matzati.  You can check out the fantastic raffle prizes that have been donated in support of Babywearing International of the Inland Northwest and read about details of the raffle here.  RSVP here. 



Bring your cameras and carriers and meet us at the Stork Market Cafe at Bella Cova at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and shopping. We'll head across the river and have fun taking photos in the park. RSVP here.
Share any historical Babywearing pictures you can find on our Facebook page. If you own a traditional carrier, we want to see a photo of you using it! Share them on your own wall as well to build awareness of babywearing! (Please note that this is an event anyone can do any time and any place.) RSVP here.
Meet us at Eleven Acres Farm in Green Bluff at 10:00 a.m. to do some picking while babywearing. They have a great selection and great prices. It's the perfect time to pick pumpkins for Halloween! And it's a good work out! RSVP here.
Share your favorite babywearing tutorial on our Facebook page as well as your own page. It can be a specific carry, a DIY to make a carrier, or even a tute on making babywearing accessories. We can't wait to see what everyone has to share! (Please note that this is an event anyone can do any time and any place.) RSVP here.

This is the day we'd like to give a shout out to all of our local members!  We will be doing a drawing and two of our current members will receive a new carrier!  Happy International Babywearing Week! Membership is $30 for the year and entitles you to borrow one carrier each month from our lending library.  Members who join before October 5, 2013 also receive 10 free tickets for our raffle.  (Please note that this is an event anyone can do any time and any place.)
